Q: Who is the target readership?

A: The primary audience will be families who already participate in their local Chabad Center’s activities or who may choose to join their local Chabad Center.



Q: When will
Impact! be published?

The inaugural issue will be published in Summer of 2007. Thereafter it will be published quarterly on September 1, December 1, March 1, etc.



Q: What will
Impact! look like?

Impact! will be a high-quality news magazine with full color and a glossy format. It is professionally designed for a look that lets readers know it’s a serious publication that is informative, entertaining, and uplifting.



Q: How will the content be organized?

A: The content will be organized both in a general and regional format.

General format content will include articles of broad interest (like book reviews, parenting issues, and educational pieces), photo essays, Chabad Center listings, and general advertising. Programs, classes, and services that are offered in Chabad Centers will be included in this section. It will also showcase stories that are noteworthy for the entire West Coast (such as the dedication of a major new facility).

In addition, the magazine will feature regional news sections. Utilizing this format, programs of a more specific nature, or the activities of a particular Chabad Center in a given region, can be highlighted in a way that will encourage the local populace to participate. Local businesses and events of a local nature will have their advertisements listed in the regional sub-sections.



Q: How do subscriptions and distribution work?

A: 1. Individual Chabad Centers can order the quantity they desire and mail them themselves. 2. Individuals can subscribe for $18.00 per year. 3. The magazine will be dropped off at various high-traffic locations. 4. A number will be mailed directly to all Chabad Centers for public display and distribution to foot traffic.



Q: Why should someone spend advertising dollars with
Impact!?

A: Impact! is the perfect vehicle to advertise a business, product, program or event because: 1. Impact! has a large circulation across the region. 2. Impact’s impressive appearance and quality content enhance the prestige of the products and services advertised in its pages. 3. Impact! is designed to appeal to an "upwardly mobile" demographic. 4. Impact’s readers form the core of today’s and tomorrow’s consumers. 5. Non-profit organizations will receive a 10% discount off of published advertising rates. 6. Chabad Centers will receive at least a 20% discount off of published advertising rates (and generous incentives for direct referrals). 7. Repeat advertisers will receive significant discounts off of published advertising rates.

Q; When are press releases, submissions, and advertisements due so that they can be published in the next edition of
Impact!?

A: All material must be submitted no later than six weeks prior to the next publication date to be considered for inclusion. Impact! will operate on a first come, first served basis.
